The AA East African Convention is a special gathering for members of Alcoholics Anonymous, their families, friends, and anyone interested in the AA program of recovery. It's a weekend of unity and celebration where attendees share their experience, strength, and hope through speaker meetings, workshops, and fellowship. While centered on AA members, our "open" meetings are welcoming to all.
This year's convention is a hybrid event, meaning you can join us either in person in Kisumu, Kenya, or virtually from anywhere in the world!
In-Person: Simply register and join us at the designated convention venue in Kisumu.
Online: You can register for online access to join live streams of the main speaker meetings and select workshops. A link to the virtual platform will be provided upon registration.
Registration fees vary for in-person and online attendees. The standard registration fee covers access to all scheduled meetings and convention materials. In addition, we are offering special dinner packages which include a catered gala dinner on Saturday evening. This package must be purchased separately from the general registration. Please visit the registration portal for detailed pricing on all options.
Yes! A variety of convention-themed merchandise will be available for purchase at the in-person venue in Kisumu. Items will include t-shirts, mugs, recovery literature, and special sobriety medallions. We encourage you to visit the merchandise desk early for the best selection. At this time, merchandise sales are limited to in-person attendees only.
